IPNETZONE Doubles Capacity and Increases Network Footprint
New York and Austin Metropolitan Markets Showing Higher Demand
NEW YORK, October 13, 2009 – IPNETZONE Communications, Inc., today announced the doubling of its bandwidth capacity in New York City and an increase in its network footprint from New York, New York and Secaucus, New Jersey to Austin, Texas. These latest developments enable IPNETZONE to stay ahead of their growing market demands in the New York and Austin metropolitan areas.
“This is such an important development for us, as we’ve seen a growing demand in network monitoring and management services bundled with connectivity and bandwidth requirements from the small- to medium-sized market in the New York and Austin areas,” says Joon Shin, President and CEO of IPNETZONE. Shin continues, “For SMBs, the combination of the credit crunch and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) has changed their IT investment behavior to rather delay investments or reduce them altogether through managed services.”
September 30, 2009 marks the lowest number of approvals and lowest amount of SBA-guaranteed loans to be distributed for the past five years, according to the U.S. Small Business Administration. Even with the economic slump, Shin is optimistic about the managed services industry, “The bottom line is that businesses need access to information, whether it’s to the public Internet or a dedicated private network. Whether they need to stay connected to customers and partners or do research on products, services, and competitors, having management and enterprise class connectivity to the rest of the world is something that some SMBs will not relinquish.”
Kimberly Brumfield, President and CEO of ColoMetro, concurs, “As an IPNETZONE channel partner, we’ve seen, first-hand, the increase in demand for metro Ethernet and multiprotocol label switching (MPLS) services in our Austin client base.”
“With these latest expansions, we’re excited not only for those local markets but also for the boost in our capabilities to deliver even more across North America,” says Shin.
